This Refund Policy explains cancellation and refunds for MemoryShield paid plans. Read it together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Those Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. This page is the statement of refund practice contemplated by Section 10 of the Terms. We do not offer service-level commitments or extra refund windows beyond what this policy and applicable law require.
MemoryShield is a digital-legacy release protocol. The Services include an encrypted vault, named trustees, an automated email life-check, and a multi-step verification process that may lead to release of designated vault items to verified trustees. MemoryShield is not a will, estate plan, or password manager.
The Free plan has no paid fee. This Refund Policy does not apply to it. There is no charge and nothing to refund.
Canceling a paid plan stops renewal. It does not, by itself, refund fees already charged.
Paid plans (Premium and Family) include a 30-day free trial processed by Paddle. If you cancel during the trial, you are not billed. That is a no-charge cancellation, not a refund.
Once a paid billing period begins, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. In this policy, “refund” means return of a charge already made, and only where applicable law requires it.
Cancel from your account settings or through the Paddle customer portal. MemoryShield does not process card data. Billing is handled by Paddle as merchant of record. There is no self-serve refund button in the product.
If applicable law requires a refund of a charge already made, email support@memoryshield.life. We work with Paddle on billing. Support is email only.
